Girls Night Out by Shawn Yancey is a party with a “purpose”!  G.N.O. was held this year at the American University’s Katzen Arts Center and featured Indie designers, vendors and many D.C. celebrities.  The always enigmatic and fashionable Paul Wharton, hosted alongside Sarah Fraser of Fox 5 DC.  Celebrity sightings of Traci Braxton, Allison Seymour of Fox 5, Julie Wright, DJ Charity, Erin Como, Annie Yu, Toni Perkins and more.  This year the party’s “purpose” benefitted the Safe Shores DC,  an advocacy center that supports children of sexual and physical abuse.  Attendees were also asked to bring a backpack for donation along with the ticket purchase.  The vendor aisle was full of amazing wares from granola to African print apparel, it was the place to update your wardrobe.  Fave moment:  Sarah Fraser trying to auction off several of the handsome servers(I added a photo for you below) titillating the crowd.
